After nearly a decade at the helm of People.ai, Ukrainian entrepreneur Oleg Roginsky announced that he is stepping down as CEO of the company. He will now focus on developing defense and drone technologies that are coming out of Ukraine.
«When I founded People.ai, my goal was simple: collect data on sales activity to first improve salespeople’s performance, and then help AI understand the context of each deal. We’ve built a platform that our customers value, and I’m incredibly proud of the team that made it happen,» Roginsky wrote on LinkedIn.
According to the entrepreneur, he decided to step down from operational management to devote himself to a new personal project — scaling Ukrainian defense and drone technologies.
«I want to help Ukraine survive this war and help the West prevent the next one,» he noted.
Roginsky will remain on the board of directors of People.ai and continue to support the company.
Jason Ambrose, who was previously responsible for the company’s development strategy, has been appointed as the new CEO.
«We have created something extraordinary, and I am confident that under Jason’s leadership, the best is yet to come,» the entrepreneur added.
Over the past year, Oleg and Jason have worked side by side — shaping the company’s strategy and determining what the next stage of our brand and product development will be.
The company’s mission remains the same: to help sales teams get reliable, actionable answers, according to a People.ai post on LinkedIn.
Jason Ambrose has over 20 years of experience leading and scaling companies in the enterprise software space — inMcKinsey, Anaplan and Appirio. «We are confident that he will be able to turn vision into real results and create teams that bring tangible value to clients,» the company notes.
