Palantir Technologies will be involved in analyzing solutions for infrastructure development and reconstruction in various regions of Ukraine.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine — Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba after the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Development and Palantir Technologies.
He noted that Palantir is already working in Ukraine in the field of humanitarian demining, and as the next step, «joint work on an AI-supported system for assessing the resilience of regions» should begin.
According to him, cooperation with the company will begin with a pilot project in two regions, which should then be scaled up to the entire territory of Ukraine.
In particular, this concerns the digitalization of regional resilience plans and the calculation of the resilience index, as well as monitoring the implementation of measures, identifying risks, assessing vulnerabilities in energy generation, heat supply and basic services, and identifying solutions to protect critical infrastructure and energy security.
«This will make it possible to see where the system is most vulnerable, where resources need to be directed first, and how to ensure maximum results for the resilience of communities,» a government representative commented.
Earlier, as dev.ua wrote, Palantir CEO stated that AI will leave only artisans and neuro-specialized people on the labor market .
