This was announced on social media by the newly appointed Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
«We immediately set a high pace. We held the first government meeting, a series of meetings with key ministers — we formed the first priorities,» Svyrydenko noted, commenting on her first week in office.
According to her, a number of decisions are being prepared for next week. In particular, a moratorium on business inspections is being prepared.
«The government, together with the security agencies and under the coordination of the National Security and Defense Council, is preparing a decision that will give business more freedom. A one-year moratorium on inspections is planned. This issue has already been discussed with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy — his instructions are clear: to give more freedom to domestic economic forces. This also means continuing to de-shadow the economy, ensuring equal conditions that are beneficial to white business,» Svyrydenko emphasized.
An audit of criminal cases against businesses has also begun. «The priority is to close groundless proceedings that block entrepreneurial activity. New cases will be authorized only by the Prosecutor General or regional and district leaders,» the Prime Minister emphasized.
In parallel, tax and customs inspections will be limited. According to Svyrydenko, control over the legality of investigative actions will be strengthened.
«Inspections will only be carried out in high-risk sectors, and bona fide businesses will receive protection. We are ready to initiate changes to the laws to better protect businesses, reform supervision, and ensure the fair use of confiscated Russian assets,» Svyridenko emphasized.
A representative of the tech sector has already responded to the promise of the head of government. «A one-year moratorium on business inspections! We definitely count it as an achievement. In a country at war, you can’t even breathe in the direction of business, let alone prevent them from working. Only business creates jobs, pays taxes, and ensures the development of the state. This is an axiom. It’s useless to argue with it. There is not a single example of a successful economy where entrepreneurs are presumed guilty. Entrepreneurs cannot be touched in the slightest,» said monobank co-founder Oleg Horohovsky.
