Ukrainian engineering company XTI Engineering has received a state certificate for its first heavy remote demining complex "GART 5100". This is a completely domestic development designed for the safe and effective neutralization of various types of mines and other explosive objects.
As reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the complex has successfully passed the state certification procedure, which was conducted by the State Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Armaments and Military Equipment. Obtaining the certificate paves the way for serial production of the machine, which is critically important for clearing Ukrainian territories of explosive remnants of war.
A special advantage of the "GART 5100" is that it is a completely domestic development and is manufactured in Ukraine. This significantly simplifies logistics, ensures fast delivery, maintenance and the possibility of prompt repair of the complex.
"GART 5100" is designed to neutralize mines and other explosive objects by detonation or mechanical destruction. For this purpose, the complex is equipped with two types of working bodies: a chain unit with hammers and a milling cutter. Interchangeable equipment allows you to adapt the machine to different types of soil, increasing its versatility.
The complex is controlled remotely at a distance of up to 600 meters, which guarantees the operator's safety during demining. By installing a repeater, the safe distance can be increased to over one kilometer. To provide the operator with complete information about the working area, the machine is equipped with a camera system with a wide viewing angle.
Robotic equipment in the service of the Defense Forces is not used for the first time;the Visluk ground robotic complex , produced by the Ukrainian company Robotic Systems, can transport up to 200 kg of payload on its own, over sand and swamps.
