«Robots are already changing the rules of the game — on the battlefield they save lives and perform tasks instead of people, in medicine they perform complex operations. To increase the number of Ukrainian technologies, we are launching RoboLab — modern robotics laboratories based on Ukrainian universities,» the Ministry of Digital Affairs said .
Students will be able to work in RoboLab with real equipment and robotic platforms, as well as use AI and software for 3D modeling and design. The labs will allow not only to test ideas and launch the first prototypes, but also «to build collaboration with the business and scientific community.»
The project is being created in partnership with the Association of Robotics and Automated Systems, Ajax Systems and Deus Robotics, as well as the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund.
To launch a pilot RoboLab, the Ministry of Digital Affairs is looking for a university in Kyiv that meets the following requirements:
Applications are open until September 14 at the link. Higher education institutions from other cities can also submit applications to participate in the project at a later date.
