According to the head of the State Tax Service, in the first three months of 2026, technology giants paid UAH 4.5 billion in "Google tax." This amount is 28% more than last year.
In 2025, international companies paid UAH 3.5 billion in tax on electronic services in the first quarter.

The leaders in paying taxes are global technology giants: Apple, Google, Valve, Meta, Sony, Etsy, and Netflix.
In total, 152 people have already registered as VAT payers.
Recall that this tax is paid by foreign companies (non-residents) that provide electronic services to individuals in the customs territory of Ukraine. This includes, in particular, services for online advertising, access to video and audio content, cloud solutions, software, and other digital products.
