On Tuesday, January 7, the co-founder of the Ukrainian IT company ELEKS, Oleksiy Ivanovich Skrypnyk, passed away. Almost 3 years ago, on the eve of the full-scale Russian invasion, his son, Oleksiy Skrypnyk, who was also a co-founder of ELEKS, passed away.
The death of Alexei Ivanovich was announced by his grandson Anton Skrypnyk.
«He was a scientist, a brilliant engineer and a systems entrepreneur, a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather who always found time for his loved ones, and a mentor whose words of support and wise advice remained in people’s hearts forever. Oleksiy Ivanovich is a legend of Ukrainian IT, co-founder of ELEKS and an example of how one person can light up thousands of hearts,» wrote Anton Skrypnyk.
He said that Oleksiy Skrypnyk kept himself in shape and walked six kilometers every morning. And after that, he sat down to code in C++ — «not for work, but for the soul.»
«Even in the most difficult times, he believed that you could not just build a business, but create something much more — a community, ideas and values that would inspire many generations to come. ELEKS, the company he founded with his son, my father Oleksiy, became not just a successful technology player, but a real team of talents, a forge of innovation that changed more than one life,» noted the grandson of the deceased.
Recall that on February 23, on the eve of the full-scale invasion, Oleksiy Skrypnyk, co-founder and chairman of the board of directors of the Lviv IT company ELEKS, suddenly died. He was 57 years old. At the company, he was responsible for the development of North Africa and the Middle East.
«Our youth are not perceived as leaders, so I go to the sheikhs,» said Oleksiy Oleksiyovych Skrypnyk.
