As Andriy Hrytsenyuk, director of the Brave1 defense cluster, told Forbes in an interview, we are talking about dozens of developments. «Missiles of different ranges and with different characteristics. More than 10 companies are actively testing their missiles at the test site — both cruise and anti-aircraft,» he said.
He added that there are not enough developments in ballistics and anti-aircraft missiles. «Less than half of the total. That is why we launched Brave competitions related to tactical ballistics and anti-aircraft missiles. If there are no or almost no developments in some direction, we invest more actively in this market segment. This is how dozens of companies appear that are trying to do something. Experience and competition appear,» he says.
According to Hrytsenyuk, over 200 developments have appeared in Ground Robotic Complexes (GRC) in two years. «We have over 500 manufacturers of FPV drones. At this stage of the industry’s maturity, we stop investing in this segment. Then the laws of the market come into play — the best products or companies that know how to do business effectively win,» he noted.
