«If we talk about your content, we are all definitely in favor of legalizing it and you having the right to pay taxes, just like everyone else. For me, this issue is closed,» he said when answering the question of the author of the pornographic content, writes EP.
«In fact, today there is a parliament that is not very inclined to reforms, unlike in the first term of our term. This is a certain obstacle to us getting this through the hall,» the MP continued.
In his Telegram channel, Getmantsev wrote: «I unequivocally support the legalization of porn production (not related to children and violence), I asked the media and the public to support the initiative. Regarding the taxation of content creation activities, income should be taxed. Is this activity entrepreneurial? The question is debatable, I consider it closer to independent professional activity.»
In addition, Getmantsev noted that the payment of taxes is not affected by a person’s type of employment, since the tax office «does not analyze or watch the content» generated by models.
«I would recommend that everyone involved in this activity file a tax return and pay tax,» he concluded.
As a reminder, on November 11, the Verkhovna Rada registered a bill proposing to amend Article 301 of the Criminal Code. In July, an OnlyFans model was fined UAH 35,700 in Kyiv for producing and selling porn. And in October, the OnlyFans creator paid UAH 13.2 million in taxes after the tax office «involved» the girl in declaring her income.
Previously, dev.ua reported that more than 5,000 Ukrainian models who create paid content on the OnlyFans online platform earned about $123 million in income during 2020–2022.
