The new subscription allows you to watch most videos without standard advertising inserts, as well as use the features of downloading content for offline viewing and background playback at a lower price.

The new subscription allows you to watch most videos without standard advertising inserts, as well as use the features of downloading content for offline viewing and background playback at a lower price.
This is reported by the Mezha publication. Currently, the offer can be seen in mobile applications of some users, while in the web version on PC, the tariff page still notifies about unavailability. Despite the presence of Ukraine in the list of supported countries, some users see a notification about the service launch stage when trying to register.
The cost of YouTube Premium Lite in Ukraine depends on the platform. In the mobile version of YouTube through the browser, the tariff is offered for 99 UAH per month, while in the iOS application the subscription costs $2.99 per month (about 130 UAH at the current exchange rate).
Users are also offered a free trial period of one to two months, during which sponsored videos and ads may continue to appear in music videos, the Shorts section, and when searching for content.
The Premium Lite plan is aimed at users who primarily need basic ad-free video viewing without the advanced features of full YouTube Premium, such as access to YouTube Music.
Recall that YouTube has increased the cost of Premium in Ukraine. Individual, family and student subscriptions have increased in price by more than 80%. The old prices have remained almost unchanged for eight years.
