The President signed the law on tax increases: what will change from December 1
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed draft law No. 11416-d, one of the clauses of which provides for an increase in the military levy on all incomes of Ukrainians from 1.5% to 5%.

What will change?
Military collection for FOPs:
for groups 1, 2 and 4, a military levy will be introduced in the amount of 10% of the minimum salary (currently UAH 8,000 per month);
for group 3 — 1% of income in the form of a military levy.
In addition, the military levy on the salaries of all individuals (including those working in the Diya.City regime) will increase from 1.5% to 5%.
From January 1, 2025, the military levy on other incomes of citizens (except salaries) will also increase from 1.5% to 5%.
The military levy for the military itself was not increased.
Other changes:
Banks have to pay 50% income tax in 2024.
Monthly advance income tax payments will be introduced for gas stations.
Income from "national cashback" will not be subject to personal income tax in 2024-2025.
Increase in the rent for the mining of rocks for crushed stone, granite and sand.
Transition to monthly income tax reporting (PTFO). Increase of the minimum land tax (MLT).
We will remind that the historic law on increasing taxes was adopted by the Council back in October. After 44 days, the President signed the law.
The law will enter into force on December 1, after publication on November 30.
Opinions of the IT community about the increase in taxes
CEO and co-founder of Intellias Vitaly Sadler commented on the government's draft law on the significant increase in taxes: "The most difficult thing in this story is that the state actually breaks its promise for 25 years not to change taxes for participants of the Diya City regime."
