On August 23, according to the case file, the man made an attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine outside the checkpoints at a distance of 20 km from the state border line.
The programmer did not appear at the court session, he did not inform the court of the reasons for his absence. However, in a written explanation, the programmer stated that he arrived in the controlled border area with the aim of crossing the state border into Romania.
The court found man guilty of committing an administrative offense, i.e. attempting to cross the border illegally, and fined him UAH 3,400.
He also has to pay a court fee in the amount of UAH 605.60.
The ruling can be appealed within ten days from the date of its submission to the Ivano-Frankivsk Court of Appeal by filing an appeal through the Verkhovynskyi District Court of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region.
