The Verkhovna Rada adopted a draft law on electronic document flow in employment.
As reported by the press service of the parliament, draft law No. 14141 creates legal conditions for concluding employment contracts in electronic form.
For this purpose, a qualified electronic signature will be used without the need to physically present identification documents.
The draft law amends the Labor Code of Ukraine, according to which, when concluding an employment contract in the form of an electronic document, the employee’s identity is identified by signing the employment contract with a qualified or advanced electronic signature.
In turn, the employer and employee may agree on the creation, transfer, and storage of such person’s data and documents on labor relations in accordance with the laws «On Electronic Documents and Electronic Document Management» and «On Electronic Identification and Electronic Trust Services.»
The press service of the Verkhovna Rada notes that the introduction of electronic employment will have a positive effect in conditions of martial law, when a significant part of the economically active population is outside their permanent place of residence.
The legislators also add that the adopted changes are fully consistent with European trends and are consistent with the relevant EU regulation.
Previously, dev.ua also wrote that «Diya» will have an employment ecosystem «Obriy», which will help the unemployed with the help of AI.
