Brave1 CEO Andriy Hrytsenyuk confirmed information about the transfer of the defense cluster from the sphere of management of the Ministry of Digital Transformation to the Ministry of Defense.
Brave1 CEO Andriy Hrytsenyuk confirmed information about the transfer of the defense cluster from the sphere of management of the Ministry of Digital Transformation to the Ministry of Defense.
He said this at the Brave1 Advantage event, answering a question from a dev.ua journalist.
«We are a separate legal entity. And we actively work with both the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Defense. Of course, transferring it to the Ministry of Defense will simplify our interaction, but everyone in the world already knows Brave1. So, in principle, this does not affect anything — it is only a budget line under which ministry,» commented Hrytsenyuk, at the same time not denying that this will happen over time.
According to him, transferring Brave1 to the control of the Ministry of Defense seems like a logical step.
«It will happen — in any case. It’s logical. Sooner or later it will happen, but for us it is not a high priority task, because we are already working and proving our effectiveness,» the CEO of Brave1 noted in a comment.
As dev.ua previously reported, the government has adopted a resolution that creates an official framework for working with international partners, Brave International.
«We’ve made a huge leap. But there’s still room to jump.» A great interview with Brave1 CEO — about laser weapons, interceptor drones, a missile program and more
