The Ministry of Digital Transformation says that R&D centers will receive favorable conditions for development, in particular, tax benefits, access to tools for attracting investment, a transparent corporate structure, and guarantees of intellectual property protection.
«R&D is the basis for the development of innovations. Favorable conditions for research allow scientists and engineers to develop new technologies in a wide variety of areas — from defense and microelectronics to biotechnology», — commented the decision of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.
The Ministry of Digital Affairs expects that this will help companies develop new technologies in various fields and «strengthen Ukraine’s scientific and technical infrastructure».
Recall that in early February, the heads of the AI Center of Excellence from the Ministry of Digital Transformation said that the center will have its own development team, which will be formed in the near future.
Previously, the European developer of robotic systems ARX Robotics announced its intentions to open offices in Ukraine in early 2025. Ukrainian specialists will be involved in the company’s R&D process.
