«We started as TAF Drones — a team-based development of FPV drones that delivered results. Our Hummingbirds have destroyed millions of dollars worth of enemy equipment — and continue to do so every day. But war evolves. And so do we,» the press service said in a statement.
The announcement notes that starting August 8, the company will officially be called TAF Industries. Corresponding changes have already been made to the company’s identity — logo, website, and social media.
«This is more than a name change. This is a transformation. We have gone from a team specializing in military technical support to an engineering unit developing critical solutions for the front,» — TAF Industries.
The company reported that it currently operates 20 production sites, has a team of over 50 engineers, produces up to 80,000 UAVs per month, and has developed over 30 miltech products. TAF Industries creates not only drones, but also electronic warfare systems, initiation boards, and AI solutions for targeting.
«Our mission remains unchanged: more enemy assets destroyed means fewer chances for the invader,» TAF Industries assured.
Last year, the founder of what was then TAF Drones, Oleksandr Yakovenko,reported that in the first half of the year the company received $160 million in revenue and another $500 million in spare parts supplies. Even then, he spoke about the transformation of TAF into an innovative and technological company.
