Electronic Arts has announced the launch of EA Advertising, an advertising platform that will allow well-known brands to integrate their promotional materials directly into the gameplay of popular real-time sports simulators.

This is stated in the company’s press release. The new development is focused on dynamic advertising placement — from virtual billboards in stadiums to interactive content. The developers claim that such integrations will become an organic part of the virtual space and will not interfere with the user’s gaming experience.

Advertisers will be able to customize their campaigns in real time and optimize them based on aggregated player engagement data. Available formats include digital banners, branded scoreboards and overlay graphics. In addition, partners are offered the EA Sports Partner Program, which provides access to additional tools to create collaborative content, engage creators and launch community programs while respecting user privacy.

The platform’s first partners include global brands such as Visa, Red Bull, Lowe’s, Xfinity, Peacock, and Mountain Dew, with their ads appearing in popular simulation games such as EA Sports FC, Madden NFL, and College Football.
