Uklon completed the third quarter with revenue of $33.5 million. During this period, the company's services were used by 5.4 million users in the markets of Ukraine and Uzbekistan, and the number of employees exceeded one thousand people.
Uklon CEO Serhiy Grishkov reported on his Facebook page about financial and operational results, as well as business development within the Kyivstar group.
According to the company's head, the second half of the year began with a number of challenges for Ukrainian cities. The team had to adapt the platform to increased enemy attacks, frequent alarms, unpredictable electricity situations, and changes in logistics due to closed bridges in Kyiv. Despite the difficult conditions, the quarter turned out to be productive for business expansion.
In Ukraine, the service was expanded to four new cities. In addition, the company closed its first merger and acquisition (M&A) deal in the micromobility sector, the details of which are not being disclosed at this time. Uklon also continued to develop intercity transportation, opening new international bus routes to Poland within the Uklon Travel Bus direction.
In parallel, Uklon is strengthening its presence in Uzbekistan. According to Grishkov, this is an attractive market with a rapidly digitalizing economy and growing competition. There, the company launched its own navigation system and expanded the service to five new cities in the Fergana Valley.
Separately, the company's head noted the growth of the team, which currently numbers over a thousand specialists. "Today, more than ever, it is important to maintain unity and focus on the good. This is probably the main strength of our team now," emphasized Serhiy Grishkov.
