According to the Acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh, this is UAH 8.7 billion more than in the first eight months of 2024 and UAH 1.5 billion more than in the entire last year.
She reported that the UAH 19.5 billion paid by residents of «Diia.City» includes:
«Diia.City continues to remain one of the most attractive platforms for the development of technology businesses in Ukraine. In the space, companies receive not only favorable tax conditions, but also tools for scaling, developing innovative products, and attracting investment», — says Karnaukh.
She added that currently there are over 2,800 companies in the «Diia.City» register, of which 2,400 are active residents.
Recall that in August, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Finance Committee, Danyla Getmantseva, stated that only 2,210 companies were registered in the «Diia.City» register, which is significantly less than the authorities had expected when it was introduced. According to him, the industry «has clearly not given up on tax evasion using schemes involving sole proprietors.»
Subsequently, the IT Ukraine Association and a number of IT clusters published a joint position regarding Hetmantsev’s words. The appeal of IT industry representatives noted that in the first half of 2025 alone, residents of «Diia.City» paid almost UAH 16 billion in taxes (almost as much as in the entire year 2024), which is a record result for the industry.
