The new head of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert «Magyar» Brody, spoke about how he will develop the branch of service entrusted to him.
«The SBS is a wormy horror. The belated but rapid formation of a branch of the military. Here is an inexhaustible list of priority steps for 100 days,» he wrote on Facebook.
Immediate implementationof existing collective experience. Over the next 100 days, the following specific steps will be implemented in the Drone Line of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces:
Transparent results without blah-blah. 6-7 units of the SBS Drone Line will be included in the TOP-10 according to the existing rating of the effectiveness of UAV units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Unified system. All units of the SBS Drone Line performing combat missions at the front will operate in a unified electronic system of planning, analysis, coordination, management, and online reporting with automatic verification of all results (June-July 2025).
1 2 layers of SBS influence on the strip in tactical and operational depth. Immediate step-by-step launch or reinforcement in SBS units of the drone line of ALL 12 layers of influence on the entrusted strip (using the example of the use of the 414th Brigade, including RER, EW, radar, enemy UAV fighters, remote mining, echeloned use of anti-shahed means, anti-pilot measures groups, etc.), immediate launch of retraining of the military, competent provision of means, technologies and control systems (June-September 2025).
Increasing our own operational ammunition production for competent and timely provision, rather than the ultimate principle of «we fight with what we have left.» Ammunition awaits the pilots, not the other way around.
Single warehouse of critical components. Creation of a single warehouse for the supply and timely provision of the SBS Drone Line units with a package of 50 critical equipment and components (such as StarLink, additional batteries for drones, mobile electronic warfare, FPV and bomber customization components, peripherals, power banks, pickup trucks, etc.).
NRC logistics. Ground robotic complexes — as the main means of logistics of warheads, drones and peripherals to pilots in positions, etc.).
Personnel replenishment. The only recruitment campaign for the SBS and the simultaneous basic + professional training (analogous to the already implemented training system in the Drone Line), its own network of FPV, bomber, wing, electronic warfare, radar, fighter, NRC, etc. schools.
Pilots fly, everyone else works to ensure the process. Audit and optimization of the emergency response system of the SBS forces, retraining and operational training of inexperienced or non-combat-capable crews, reprofiling by type of flight activity, audit of dead souls, guest pilots, dodgers in military uniform, tired and cunning.
Calculate-Plan-Receive-Fight. Unified analysis of capabilities and the fact of application, results in terms of drone/munition models for accurate planning and implementation of support
The use of UAVs for strategic depth. It concerns those who are concerned — the priorities have been defined and already announced.
R&D (Center for Innovation and Development Implementation). Transformation of the existing center from the brigade level to the level of support for the branch of the armed forces and more (15 models of already implemented projects, equipment and means).
Separate principles:
Zero tolerance for corruption or profiteering;
Intolerance and strict control in units regarding the use of alcohol and narcotic substances;
Strict implementation of strict security protocols;
The Supreme Court is outside politics;
Continuous education and training;
Every single soldier has a direct connection with the brigade commander;
Each fighter (cook, driver, orderly and technician) has a daily report on the results of training (the greatest stimulating motivational tool for feeling directly involved in the fight).
