German defense company ARX Robotics has signed a contract to expand the fleet of ground robotic systems (GRS) in Ukraine. It involves the supply of several hundred additional GEREON systems for the Defense Forces.
The contract was signed against the backdrop of the scaling up of the use of ground robotic systems in front-line logistics — one of the key areas of battlefield automation.
According to the company, taking into account systems already delivered and ordered, ARX Robotics is currently the largest supplier of Western NRCs to Ukraine.
In parallel with the supply of equipment, the company is expanding its local presence. In particular, we are talking about the development of ARX Robotics Ukraine, a Ukrainian representative office responsible for the implementation and support of systems.
The company is also scaling up its service component: it conducts military training at training grounds, provides technical support directly to units, and expands the capabilities of servicing and repairing systems on site.
This should ensure faster implementation of NRCs in combat processes and their stable operation.
Ground robotic complexes, in particular GEREON, are used for logistics, evacuation, and other tasks in the combat zone, reducing risks for the military.
