Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution that makes it mandatory to verify all Starlink satellite terminals operating in Ukraine. Unverified devices will be disconnected from the network over time. These measures were taken to prevent the use of smuggled Starlink terminals by the Russian military on Ukrainian territory.
Military drone and electronic warfare expert Sergei «Flash» Bezkrestnov noted that the Russian occupiers are facing a «catastrophe» due to the Starlink outage, which has hit the command and control of the invading forces. As a result, the Russians have been forced to halt assault operations in many areas of the front.
«Looking for a way out of the difficult situation they found themselves in, the occupiers turned their attention to the families of the prisoners. There have been recorded cases of threats and demands to officially register Starlink terminals. Then this technology should be used against Ukraine and Ukrainians,» the KSHPV reported .
The Headquarters noted that the Russians are exploiting the vulnerability of the families of prisoners, and that for them Ukrainians are «a disposable resource. At the same time, the official registration of the Russian Starlink terminal makes it easy to identify the person who did this.
«We strongly advise that if you receive offers or threats demanding that you register Starlink for yourself or any other blackmail from the enemy, you should contact the Coordination Headquarters and law enforcement agencies without delay. We will advise you on what to do so as not to harm yourself and your loved ones,» the KSHPPV assured.
Recall that Sergey «Flash» Beskrestnov warned that the Russians are looking for Ukrainians who are ready to register Starlink terminals for money. He added that those who want to do so are being bribed with offers of «easy money», and the amounts in such «orders» have increased to UAH 10,000.
