In the village of Lymanka in the Odessa region, Nova Poshta branch No. 300 was completely burned down after being hit by a drone. There were no injuries among the employees, and the company is already preparing to deploy a mobile branch at the site of the destruction.
This was reported by the press service of Nova Poshta.
Currently, the State Emergency Service and police units are working at the scene of the fire. The liquidation of the consequences of the fire and the assessment of the damage are ongoing. The company will be able to establish exact information about the condition of the cargo and parcels that were in the department only after the rescuers complete their work.
To prevent delays in delivery of shipments, the operator quickly reorganized logistics routes in the region. In addition, a temporary mobile customer service office will be set up near the affected location in the near future.
The company assured that it will fully compensate customers for the declared value of all parcels destroyed as a result of the attack. Representatives of Nova Poshta will soon contact each sender or recipient personally to agree on the procedure for paying compensation.
Nova Poshta will close the old app, which is still used by 6 million people, by the end of the year. The company invested $1.7 million in the new app, but 700,000 users still use the two apps
