“This is what Reagan would do.” US Republican Congressman Promises to Investigate in Detail Restrictions on Starshield Use for Ukraine
American Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick assured that the actions of officials responsible for restricting the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be thoroughly investigated, and those responsible will be held accountable.
American Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick assured that the actions of officials responsible for restricting the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be thoroughly investigated, and those responsible will be held accountable.
Fitzpatrick wrote about this on his social media account X.
“I will assure President Zelensky that anyone who attempts to limit Starshield will be held fully accountable, including public hearings in Congress, as well as immediate severe budget cuts for any agency or agency head responsible,” the congressman said.
According to Fitzpatrick, he intends to personally discuss this topic with Zelensky and his team in the near future.
“Congress will unequivocally affirm that Ukraine is an indispensable ally of the United States, and that Russia is an enemy of the United States, and the United States will 100% support and defend the people of Ukraine in their fight for their freedom from this brutal, illegal, and unprovoked Russian invasion,” he promised.
According to Fitzpatrick, the US should provide Ukraine with any defense equipment it needs for self-defense and “should not import a single drop of Russian oil.”
He added that sanctions against the Russian regime should be tougher than ever before. As the politician emphasized, each of the points he voiced will be submitted for consideration by the House of Representatives.
“After all, that’s what Ronald Reagan would do. And that’s what we’re going to do now. Ukraine can and will defeat Russia,” the congressman believes.
Fitzpatrick is known to have been on the front lines in Ukraine before. He is the chairman of the Congressional Ukrainian Caucus.
