The top manager announced his decision on his Facebook page. Martynchuk noted that the decision to resign is a conscious step to seek new challenges and professional growth.
«The time has come for my professional adulthood and for a conscious decision to move on and take on new challenges. Yes, I’m leaving Cisco,» Martynchuk wrote.
According to him, despite the full-scale war, the Ukrainian Cisco team demonstrated results that often exceeded the expectations of the global office. He emphasized that the projects implemented over the years have become a source of pride not only for the local office, but also for the entire corporation.
«I am grateful for the trust, for the opportunity to make mistakes (there were plenty of failures too) and learn, for the chance to work with people I want to emulate. Thank you to our partners and clients for the cool things we did together!» — noted the manager.
Serhiy Martynchuk is not revealing his next job, but he emphasized that he will remain in Ukraine. He is handing over all current affairs to Volodymyr Orlov, who has been working for Cisco for over 20 years. Prior to his appointment to the new position, he held the positions of Regional Manager for Innovation and Digital Transformation, and was also the company’s global ambassador of influence.
