The developer spoke about his new project in the Reddit community. According to him, the main goal of the service is to help better navigate the structure and priorities of hostile propaganda.
"I have long wanted to better understand Russian propaganda — which narratives the enemy pushes more aggressively, which ones it pays less attention to. That is why I created a service that pulls posts from Russian and pro-Russian Telegram channels, analyzes the narrative of each post, and allows you to track their dynamics over time," Vlad Oliynyk notes.
Based on the collected analytical data, the propaganda.com.ua dashboard processes an array of hostile publications in real time.
The service systematically monitors 103 enemy Telegram channels with a combined audience of over 47 million subscribers. Sources are divided into categories: Russian state media, Z-military groups, aggregators, the GRU/FSB network, Russian officials, and occupation sources on TOT.
The database has already analyzed over 39,000 posts (about 2,700 new ones in the last 24 hours), and the total reach of the analyzed publications reaches 2.11 billion views.
The platform offers semantic search and filtering by keywords, topics, or specific channels.
According to the developer's observations, clear spikes in enemy activity are recorded during important world or political news. In particular, analytics show an anomalous increase in the number of manipulative publications on the topic of delegitimizing the Ukrainian leadership on days of resonant international statements.
"For example, on the day when the Red Monkey announced that he had lifted restrictions on the purchase of American energy resources, you can see a surge in posts on Russian channels in general, but especially on the topic of "Delegitimization of the Ukrainian leadership," the developer adds.
"I want to have not just dry statistics and nice graphs, but to conduct a weekly analysis of key topics that the enemy paid attention to during the week. To draw conclusions - how we could respond to these attacks and what topics should be paid attention to in counter-propaganda," Vlad Oliynyk shares his further plans.
The developer called on OSINT specialists and the community to join the discussion, leave feedback and suggestions for improving the analytical tool.
