Two Kalashnikov assault rifles in one installation: the “Shablya K-2” turret from ROBONEERS has passed codification
Ukrainian defense-tech company ROBONEERS has completed the codification procedure for the remotely controlled combat module "Shablya K-2". This means that the turret is ready for official delivery to units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian defense-tech company ROBONEERS has completed the codification procedure for the remotely controlled combat module "Shablya K-2". This means that the turret is ready for official delivery to units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The Sabre K-2 is two Kalashnikov assault rifles (AK-74) in one twin mount. The solution doubles the density of fire and provides reliable cover for infantry at close ranges.
The operator chooses the firing mode depending on the tactical situation: fire with the left machine gun, right machine gun, or volley fire with two at the same time.
The Shablya K-2 DCBM is equipped with a surveillance system consisting of three cameras:
wide-angle daytime for reconnaissance and surveying the area;
narrow-angle daytime for aimed shooting;
thermal imaging for work at night and in conditions of limited visibility.
The turret works both via cable and via the Starlink satellite channel. The network is an independent and self-contained unit and therefore easily integrates into ground platforms.
The power system provides a built-in backup source and the ability to operate from a DC power supply or an external battery in the range from 20 to 60 V, which allows the module to be installed on various types of platforms.
"The K-2 Sabre complements the line of turrets from ROBONEERS, which have been actively operating in all branches of the armed forces since 2023. The codification of the module paves the way for serial supply and scaling to Defense Forces platforms," the company noted.
"Such developments will become even smarter and more autonomous." The story of the creation of the robotic turret "ShaBlya", which has not yet replaced the soldier, but has somewhat simplified his life at the front
