The launch of the new function was announced by monobank co-founder Oleg Horohovsky.
According to him, the innovation will be useful for those who want to store checks in one place or quickly remember what exactly the money was spent on.
«Now you can attach a photo of a receipt or purchase to a transaction. It’s useful if you don’t want to lose a receipt or you quickly forget what you spent money on. Or if you give access to your card to loved ones or assistants,» wrote Gorokhovsky.
The feature can be useful for personal budgeting, as well as for entrepreneurs or freelancers who save receipts for later reporting or expense reimbursement.
The new feature is already available in the app after the update. Users can add a photo directly to a specific transaction to quickly find the associated receipt or other proof of purchase in the future.
