The Ministry of Economy will focus on implementing artificial intelligence (AI) to search for vacancies for unemployed Ukrainians, according to its website.
According to Deputy Minister of Economy Tetyana Berezhna, the Tony Blair Institute has researched the labor market in Ukraine and identified the main tools for attracting Ukrainians to economic activity.
"We are engaging world-renowned institutions with rich international experience to implement the most effective policies to strengthen the labor market. The Tony Blair Institute presented nine areas that can contribute to increasing employment and economic activity of the population in both the short and long term," the official said.
According to her, the work is currently focused on three main areas: involving AI in the processes of searching for vacancies and personnel, overcoming obstacles to women's employment, and retraining and mastering new professions.
In particular, according to a study by the Tony Blair Institute, currently 37% of unemployed people in Ukraine are ready to change their profession or undergo retraining. Over the past year, Ukraine has implemented a number of retraining programs for Ukrainians. About 100,000 people have mastered new professions or improved their qualifications.
