Ukrainian university launches first AI assistant for admissions committee

Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University introduced Stefania, a virtual assistant to the admissions committee.
What Stefania can do:
- explain the rules of entry in clear language;
- to orientate among specialties;
- tell you what is needed to submit documents;
- answer frequently asked questions;
- to support in moments of confusion.
"Stephania is always there - no queues, no days off, no complicated wording. She does not replace the Admissions Committee, but she is a great help at the first stage - when confidence and support are needed most," the university website says .

At the same time, the university notes: " The system is currently in beta, so the university is improving its work. If the AI consultant was unable to provide comprehensive information, please contact the admissions committee specialists directly by phone or in person at the admissions committee."
