This was reported by Silpo CTO Igor Drozd on LinkedIn.
The project is centered around the use of Silpo's official MCP (Model Context Protocol) — a special interface that allows AI solutions to directly interact with the data and tools of the retailer's ecosystem.
"We are not interested in AI for the sake of AI and not in a specific implementation format. We are looking for strong ideas and working solutions that can become part of Silpo's products and ecosystem or turn into a new product," the company's CTO noted.
Participating in a hackathon is an opportunity to test your own hypotheses based on big business technologies and compete for a prize fund of 100,000 hryvnias.

The teams’ task is to use Silpo MCP and create a practical solution: from new guest scenarios and integrations into existing products to autonomous assistants and business tools. During the evaluation of the projects, attention will be paid to four aspects:
a clear definition of the problem that the project solves;
efficiency of using MCP "Silpo";
value for customers or business processes;
potential for integration, testing and further scaling.
