According to Chernogorenko, now military personnel with a master’s degree and at least two years of management experience in civilian life can be appointed to various positions, including the rank of colonel.
In practice, this means that these servicemen no longer need to:
«Why is this important? Many strong specialists have been mobilized into the army. After vast experience in leadership positions. After dozens of implemented projects. Previously, without an officer’s education, they could only hold soldier positions,» the Deputy Minister of Defense said.
Chernogorenko emphasized that the army should be replenished with professional personnel and managers with extensive experience should be given every opportunity for development.
«The army must be technological and modern. Personnel reform in the army is very timely. And our team will do everything to make it happen,» she summarized.
