«There’s a song about ugly sweaters and stuff like that. Unlike 'Holly, Jolly Christmas,' this is something that actually has humor. Almost like what 'Weird Al' Yankovic would do if he were recording a Christmas album,» Hoffman said .
He used two different AI agents: one for writing lyrics and one for composing music. The LinkedIn co-founder did not specify which AI he used to create the songs. His current company, Greylock, does not list any of the major music creation apps, such as Suno, Udio, or AIVA, in its investment portfolio.
Hoffman said he was amazed by the AI’s work. He warned everyone who received the gift that it was created with the help of AI, but when he showed it to his wife, she couldn’t understand that the music was created by a machine.
Reid Hoffman, who is worth an estimated $2.5 billion, is a fan of artificial intelligence. He previously showed off his digital clone, called Reid AI, which looks and sounds almost exactly like Hoffman, mimicking his tone and body language, even gesturing, which adds to the clone’s realism.
