Ajax Systems and Stfalcon have released update 6.4 for the Air Alert application, which adds a notification feature for the daily nationwide minute of silence.
Users will receive a push notification every morning at 9:00 AM as a reminder to honor the memory of the fallen defenders who gave their lives defending Ukraine from the Russian invasion.
As the application developers note, the minute of silence notification can be personalized:
Update 6.4 is gradually rolling out to iOS and Android users. If the app hasn’t updated automatically, you should update it manually or reinstall it, Ajax Systems and Stfalcon advise. After updating, check in your settings whether the minute of silence notification is enabled.
Previously, users of the job search site Work.ua noticed that a banner with a timer began to appear on it, calling for people to join a nationwide minute of silence.
The Air Alert application was developed by Ajax Systems and Stfalcon with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. In February 2024, it was updated to version 6.0 and began sending warnings about increased danger in individual cities and communities. Last year, it was reported that the application had been downloaded more than 26 million times and was actively used by more than 6 million users.
