The State Tax Service will create a separate list of businesses that were affected by the shelling. What will this change for companies?
The State Tax Service plans to separately label companies whose property has been damaged by Russian attacks. If such businesses experience a sharp drop in turnover or profits due to shelling, this will not serve as a basis for unscheduled inspections
The State Tax Service plans to separately label companies whose property has been damaged by Russian attacks. If such businesses experience a sharp drop in turnover or profits due to shelling, this will not serve as a basis for unscheduled inspections
This was reported by the acting head of the State Traffic Safety Administration Lesya Karnaukh.
So if a business can document damage caused by shelling, it will receive the label "business entity that suffered as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation."
They also want to make it easier for companies to confirm losses. The Tax Service plans to receive data on damage from the State Emergency Service, military administrations, local authorities, law enforcement officers, and state registers so that businesses do not have to bring the same documents every time. And they plan to transfer most of the communication with such companies to the Electronic Cabinet. For businesses with critical damage, the State Tax Service also wants to appoint a separate employee who will help resolve tax issues.
However, the Tax Office has not yet specified when the separate list of affected businesses will come into effect.
Tax mechanisms for businesses affected by the war still exist. For example, a company that has lost documents, equipment, or the ability to work due to shelling can apply to the State Tax Service and confirm its inability to fulfill tax obligations. According to the Tax Service, 11,214 taxpayers have already used this right since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 2,292 of them in 2026.
And in April, the government launched the "Tochka Opory" program for businesses that were forced to temporarily stop work due to shelling. Under it, employers can receive compensation for part of the costs of employee salaries and payment of social security contributions during downtime. The maximum payment is up to UAH 17,294 per employee.
Previously, dev.ua reported that the government plans to expand access to preferential lending for businesses affected by Russian attacks. This refers to companies that are not currently eligible for the current programs, but continue to operate and need money to recover.
