The company announced this on its official social networks, noting that «there’s no need to wait for Starlink high-speed internet anymore.»
This information was also confirmed by the technical publication TeslaNorth, which noted that the waitlist status had disappeared from the service availability map. Previously, in some regions, users could wait months for a connection due to limited satellite network bandwidth.
The waiting lists existed due to technical limitations—the number of users in a given region depends on the capacity of satellites and ground infrastructure. Now, their elimination means the company has significantly expanded its network capabilities.
This was made possible thanks to:
launch of new Starlink satellites;
expansion of ground infrastructure;
network modernization and optimization of bandwidth utilization.
As of 2026, the Starlink constellation will have thousands of satellites in low Earth orbit, making it the largest satellite internet network in the world.
Ukraine is one of Starlink’s key markets, where the service is actively used by both civilian users and the military and critical infrastructure.
Eliminating waiting lists means that new users can connect without delay; businesses and government agencies can deploy backup internet faster; and the risk of access shortages in the event of increased demand is reduced.
As a reminder, the Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution that makes it mandatory to verify all Starlink satellite terminals operating in Ukraine. Unverified devices will be disconnected from the network over time.
The Ministry of Digital Affairs has published instructions for Starlink owners on how to confirm the ownership of the terminal once. For individuals and sole proprietors, this is done through the Central Administrative Service, and for businesses, on the Diia portal, with different limits on the number of devices. The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War (KSHPPV) warned that Russian occupiers, who are looking for ways to bypass the blocking of Starlink terminals, have resorted to blackmailing the families of prisoners.
