Ukraine has created an AI service called Startup Due Dil to automate the initial screening of startups. It cost $1,000 to develop.
Vlad Tyslenko, a partner at Ukrainian venture fund SMRK, has launched his own AI platform Startup Due Dil. The service is designed to automate the initial due diligence of startups and is aimed at venture investors, business angels, and project founders.
Vlad Tyslenko, a partner at Ukrainian venture fund SMRK, has launched his own AI platform Startup Due Dil. The service is designed to automate the initial due diligence of startups and is aimed at venture investors, business angels, and project founders.
This is reported by Forbes Ukraine. The investor spent up to $1,000 on the development and testing of the platform, and the process itself lasted from May to August 2026. To create the tool, Tyslenko used Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, DigitalOcean server, and Cloudflare for protection.
The project was a continuation of Tyslenko’s 2023 initiative — Pitch Deck Analyzer based on ChatGPT, which was used by over 10,000 users to evaluate and improve startup presentations.
«My work as a venture capitalist involves monotonous routine work that neither I nor other investors like to do. I focused on where technology excels — saving time on analytics,» the developer noted.
Startup Due Dil is based on an architecture of 10 AI agents. Nine of them investigate individual areas of the project: team, market, competitors, technology, traction and finance, business model, compliance and legal risks, as well as Cap Table. The tenth agent, called the «Oracle», acts as an orchestrator: it plans the review process, monitors the quality of work and, if necessary, restarts the analysis. If the analysis of a certain area turns out to be insufficiently deep, it can restart the corresponding agent.
The platform generates an interactive report marked with a system of «flags»: Red Flags indicate critical risks, Yellow Flags indicate details to clarify with the founders, and Green Flags confirm strengths. The system has already analyzed about 100 startups. The SMRK fund uses the service for free, and several other venture funds are also testing the product.
The founder’s main goal is to make Startup Due Dil self-sustaining in order to direct profits to new experiments. The cost of a single report is $49. Monthly subscriptions are also available: $449 for business angels (up to 10 reports) and $999 for funds (up to 25 reports). Payments are accepted through the Paddle system, which charges about 8% commission.
Як нейромережі бачать вільну та незалежну Україну? Тест dev.ua
