A student from Dnipro developed an accessible PRRO KasaGo based on his own entrepreneurial experience and official State Tax Service documentation

Web Developer, entrepreneur, and student of NTU "Dnipro Polytechnic" Vyacheslav Sivash has developed his own software registrar of settlement operations (PRRO) called KasaGo. The application is created specifically for the needs of small businesses and offers simplified fiscalization of checks from your phone or web account.
The idea of creating our own product arose due to the high cost and excessive complexity of solutions available on the market, which are often designed for large companies with numerous integrations.
"In my work, I use PRRO every day: I send payment links to clients, including foreign ones, and accept payments offline. Existing solutions, such as Checkbox with tariffs starting at UAH 348 per month, are designed for businesses with a bunch of integrations. A small sole proprietor doesn't need that much. With the development of AI, creating applications has become extremely fast, and I decided to make a simple and accessible PRRO myself - together with Claude Code from Anthropic. When you work with a software cash register every day, you start to notice things that interfere with your work: unnecessary steps when creating a check, incomprehensible DPS errors, paid functions that should be basic. I decided to do it differently," Vyacheslav Sivash told dev.ua.
How AI helped develop the service
The development process took place in close collaboration with Anthropic's AI assistant Claude Code. First, the AI studied the State Tax Service (STS) documentation, the fiscal server API description, XML schemas, and orders, and then analyzed the principles of operation of other PRROs. The developer himself took the lead in the testing process, testing each function on his own individual entrepreneur using real money transactions.
"On August 7, the DPS fiscal server accepted the first request we signed, and on August 8, we punched the first combat check. The most interesting thing was in the little things that are not in any tutorial. For example, the checksum of the offline check coincides with the DPS example only if you rearrange the bytes in CRC32 — the AI found this by reproducing the example from the documentation," the developer noted.
KasaGo functionality
The KasaGo software solution is aimed at coffee shops, beauty professionals, couriers, online stores, and small merchants. Key features of the service include:
accepting payments via "Terminal in a smartphone" from monobank and PrivatBank, supporting cash and non-cash payments, LiqPay, NovaPay, creating payment links;
availability of offline mode for work during failures on the DPS server with automatic sending of checks after connection is restored;
generating X- and Z-reports, maintaining a product database, printing or sending checks in PDF or via QR code, as well as submitting registration forms 20-OPP, 1-PRRO and 5-PRRO directly from your account.
The application is already available for Android users on Google Play, and the web office works from any device, including iOS.
Until the end of 2026, using KasaGo is completely free, and from 2027 the tariff will be 100 UAH per month.
For students of NTU "Dnipro Polytechnic", the developer made the service free for the entire year 2027.
