A woman rented premises where gambling and online lotteries were held without an appropriate license, in violation of Ukrainian legislation, according to the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine (BEU), which conducted a pre-trial investigation.
Now, according to the court's decision, the organizer of the illegal casino must pay a fine of UAH 170,000. She is also prohibited from engaging in activities related to the organization and conduct of gambling for one year.
The computer equipment and cash seized during the pre-trial investigation were confiscated as state revenue.
