Ukrainian deftech startup Swarmer enters the Japanese market with the support of Viber owner — Rakuten Group

Rakuten's support will accelerate Swarmer's integration into Japan's advanced drone ecosystem.
“Japan is one of the most advanced robotics environments in the world, and our long-term vision is to provide compatible and reliable autonomous solutions to partners operating at such a high level,” said Sergey Kuprienko, global CEO of Swarmer. “Rakuten’s scale, reputation, and understanding of Japan’s technology priorities make it an ideal partner to deploy advanced autonomy and multi-drone coordination in the region.”
This collaboration gives Swarmer the opportunity to support research, security, infrastructure and industrial solutions in Japan, building on the country's leadership in robotics and advanced manufacturing.
