«I am incredibly excited to open Talkdesk’s office in Ukraine. This expansion will allow us to attract an extraordinary pool of talent and continue to shape the future of customer experience,» said Thiago Paiva, CEO and founder of Talkdesk.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation reported that the company plans to open an office in Ukraine and hire about 20 employees. They will be engaged in R&D in the field of AI for the Talkdesk Customer Experience Automation platform.

Talkdesk was founded in 2011 by Tiago Paiva and Cristina Fonseca. Over time, the company has become a leader in customer service and now automates traditional contact centers with AI. Its solutions are based on a cloud architecture and support voice calls, chat, AI-powered automation, and integration with other business services.
Talkdesk achieved unicorn status (a valuation of over $1 billion) back in 2018, when the company raised a Series B investment round worth around $100 million. This made it one of the fastest Portuguese startups to reach this milestone.
Talkdesk currently operates in over 100 countries around the world and has offices in North and Latin America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
