Arseny Hoffmann, a resident of Aitivka with 18 years of experience, complained that he was tired of calculating the amount of taxes he needed to pay. So, together with his colleague Alex Danko and artificial intelligence, he created a calculator that would solve this problem.

« I got bored calculating taxes, so ChatGPT and I wrote a tax calculator for individual entrepreneurs of group 3. The disclaimer was written by three people — ChatGPT, me, and Alex Danko. To be honest, I don’t understand why monobank still doesn’t have an option to calculate and pay everything in one tap, but it’s what it is. But there is an opportunity to dress up a virtual cat and relieve stress,» he wrote.

According to Arseny, a tax calculator.

It calculates everything locally, in the browser, meaning there’s no need to send financial data to a server. «It’s essentially one page, you can even save it to your computer and use it locally,» he notes.
The service is open source. The code can be viewed on Github .
The calculator can convert currency if you specify the exchange rate.
The service has a minimum of foolproof features, for example, it will not allow you to specify more than 4 digits in the fractional part of the number in the exchange rate.
The calculator is small, and therefore loads instantly.

Under Arseny’s post, IT people are actively sharing how they calculate tax amounts without such a tool. Most have an Excel spreadsheet with formulas that allow them to calculate tax amounts as quickly as possible. Also, many specialists use the Taxer service, Privatbank, or calculate taxes through «Diya». Many specialists believe that the development is too simple and needs to be «finished.»

Serhiy Babich, Senior Software Engineer, asked a similar question. He asked monobank whether to expect a tax calculation function in the bank’s services for sole proprietors.
