The characteristics of the ARX were reported by the publication "Military". The drone was presented at the World Defense Show in Riyadh. The declared maximum take-off weight of the device is approximately 600 kg, and the payload can reach 150 kg, which is a high figure for this class. The autonomy is declared to be up to 16 hours, so the drone is designed for long patrols of large areas, in particular sea areas or long sections of the front.
Control and data transmission are organized via satellite communication, that is, the channel operates outside direct radio visibility. In such a scheme, the practical flight range depends more on the fuel supply than on ground stations, which is important for long routes and long shifts. In the list of onboard equipment, Tekever names optoelectronic stations with high-resolution thermal imagers, marine radars for searching for surface targets and radars with a synthetic aperture SAR, which allow obtaining a detailed picture of the terrain regardless of lighting. Separately, they mention a computer with AI algorithms that automatically detects, classifies and tracks targets and accelerates data transmission to command posts.
The ARX has a modular architecture, so the platform can be quickly adapted to the mission, for example, to install signal relay equipment or search and rescue kits. Takeoff and landing require runways, while the reinforced chassis should allow operation from field-based ground airfields.
