This year's Ukrainian Games Festival 2026 on Steam pleased us more than ever with the number of new announcements of Ukrainian projects. Ukrainian studios continue to boldly experiment with genres and themes, moving away from template solutions. From nostalgic adventures in a village at the beginning of the 2000s to hardcore miltech simulators of NRK operators and post-apocalyptic mythpunk - the industry definitely has something to surprise. We have put together for you a selection of completely new projects that first appeared at the festival and which are already worth adding to your wishlists.

Saturn 94

An atmospheric first-person narrative thriller. You find yourself as the supervisor of the Soviet space station "Orbita" near Saturn, where you have been sent by mistake. Resources are running low, something is happening on board that is not written in the reports, and the lives of four colonies depend on your ability to assemble cargo rockets. Follow the orders of the Party or risk everything?

Hear My Light

A story-driven puzzle-shooter with unique mechanics from Ukrainian developer Stas Shostak, who creates the game while serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. You must get your brother out of a combat zone contaminated with biological weapons. Everyone around you — both the enemies and the brother himself — are blind and in a catatonic state, reacting exclusively to sound. Your only tool for navigation and combat are drones, which you must control with jewel-like tactical precision.

Sal Terrae: in search of SALT

A post-apocalyptic Ukrainian myth-punk that is intriguing at first glance. The events unfold 200 years after a global catastrophe in modern Ukraine, where society has returned to the traditions of the 16th century, but with the use of remnants of modern technology. You play as 12-year-old Oleksa, who leads a Milky Way caravan to the Crimea for salt. The trick of the game: you do not control the caravan directly, but influence the minds of the companions using the "neuro-disconnection" technology.

Ground Drone Operator: Ground Robotic System Simulator

The most relevant military-tech project. This is a cooperative simulator of controlling ground robotic complexes. Controlling the machine is as close to reality as possible: the crew is divided into roles (controlling the platform, weapons, equipment). Players will have to carry out assaults, evacuations, deliver supplies and conduct raids behind enemy lines.

Sarco

Sarco is a first-person horror game that focuses on sustained tension rather than sudden scares. Keep your eyes on the sarcophagus to keep it closed and the primordial creature imprisoned. Players must explore the abandoned complex and find a way to stop the creature before it breaks free.

10 more minutes

A cozy and nostalgic journey back to childhood. Summer 2001, you are a seven-year-old boy sent on vacation to your grandfather's place in the Ukrainian village. Explore the neighborhood, make friends, help around the house, and most importantly, try to earn enough pocket money to join the local computer club.

No Signal: Chernobyl

A purely cooperative psychological horror set in the exclusion zone. Together with a partner, you explore the abandoned cities around Chernobyl, trying to solve puzzles. The main twist is that you and your partner can see completely different realities, which will make you constantly doubt your own eyes.

I Want to Play the Villain!

A theatrical logic puzzle that also became part of the festival's festive selection. Your task is to perfectly distribute the actors into roles to create a flawless show. Stylish 2D graphics and an atypical puzzle setting make the game a great time killer.

Fog'n'Silence

A surreal RPG set in the open world of the Afterlife. Players view the world through a drone camera, helping a group of travelers survive, hide from blind monsters, avoid an ominous fog, and break the endless Loop.

Frozen Echo

A cooperative survival simulator in extreme cold. Travel through the winter forest with your own camp, hunt, craft equipment, and fend off packs of hungry wolves to avoid freezing to death.

Zorehrai: Space Formations

A rigorous space simulator for lovers of complex mechanics, combining elements of classic RPGs, strategies, and fleet management.

Her Last Wish

A touching 2D physics puzzler. The protagonist fulfills his wife's dying wish to feed a strange cave creature with round snails. All this is wrapped in a very warm "vintage" visual style.

Moorko

A mystical fog has engulfed a quiet village. All the people have disappeared, and the animals have turned into aggressive monsters with glowing demonic eyes. The player, as a brave cat, must stop the creeping darkness and save his home.

In this adventure, you will have to explore locations and solve the mysteries of the disappearance of villagers. The gameplay is completely devoid of text, so all interactions occur through animated thought clouds. The passage is accompanied by an atmospheric musical track with expressive Ukrainian motifs.
