IT vacancies involving test tasks have begun to decrease for the first time

The platform noted that this percentage had previously only increased. However, the decline currently hardly affects vacancies where there are no experience requirements. Such candidates are offered a test in 36% of vacancies.
«The higher the requirement, the less often the test is found, so if the requirement is more than 5 years old, only 9% have it (it was 13%),» Djinni reports.
Most often, the following specialists have to do the test tasks:
Among developers, JavaScript and Fullstack testing is most often requested (16-19%), Java is least often requested (5%)
At the end of 2023, the number of vacancies with a test was 17%. In February 2025, their number increased to 22%.
