The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated UAH 518.3 million from the reserve fund to strengthen the resilience of the digital infrastructure of state bodies. The funding will allow for the creation of reliable data storage systems for the uninterrupted operation of state services during wartime.
Prime Minister Sergei Koretsky announced the decision. According to him, the initiative is a necessary response to constant Russian attacks that threaten the state's digital systems.
The government will use the allocated funds to deploy geographically separated backup sites and cloud infrastructure. It also plans to purchase new server equipment, specialized software, and systems for backup and rapid recovery of information.
Such steps will help to quickly restore state registries and services in the event of damage due to physical attacks or cyber incidents. "We must be prepared for different scenarios, including the worst ones," the Prime Minister emphasized.
