Top 15 service centers in Ukrainian IT: who they are and where they work

Here's who made the list:

• Dmytro Voloshyn is CTO and co-founder of Preply. He is responsible for technology strategy, engineering, and AI development at the company. His team consists of 219 specialists.
• Serzh Gaziev is CTO at SoftServe, where he is responsible for AI/Data Science, Big Data, Robotics, Digital Twins, IoT, XR, and R&D. The technological approaches under his leadership encompass over 5,800 of the company's technical specialists in Ukraine.
• Igor Drozd is the CTO of Silpo's e-commerce division. He manages approximately 550 technical specialists and 50 teams, which, in particular, work on the Data Platform, payments, and the network's AI assistant.
• Oleksandr Zhytynskyi is CTO of Vyriy Industries. He heads the technical department with several hundred specialists and works on FPV drones, Ukrainian components, repeaters, and ground control stations.
• Pavlo Kosolapkin is the CTO of Frontline Robotics. He has 12 years of experience in creating UAVs. His company's team works on drones, navigation, video transmission and control systems.
• Yevhen Mospan is Chief Information Officer at mono. He was previously CTO of EPAM Ukraine, and is currently responsible for architecture, delivery, and AI development at mono. His team consists of 399 specialists.
• Dmytro Ovcharenko is CTO of the Defense AI Center "A1" at the Ministry of Defense. Before that, he was AI CTO at the Ministry of Digital Affairs and worked on Diya.AI, the national LLM, and the state AI Factory. Currently, his team is creating AI solutions for the Defense Forces.
• Bohdan Pogasiy is Head of Experience Engineering at Ciklum. He manages the Ukrainian engineering center of 1,800 engineers and is responsible for implementing AI into development processes.
• Oleksandr Savchenko is the CTO of the Ministry of Digital Affairs. He is responsible for the technology direction of the ministry, including "Diya", "Mriya", and the WinWin AI Center of Excellence. His team includes over 200 technical specialists.
• Volodymyr Sichka is CTO of Kitsoft. He manages the development of Liquio, a Ukrainian open-source GovTech platform on which the Diia portal and a number of other government services were created.
• Iryna Terek is CEO and CTO of Fire Point. She runs a defense company that deals with UAVs, electronic warfare systems, and missile weapons. The R&D team includes over 1,700 people.
• Vira Tkachenko is CTO of MacPaw. She leads engineering, innovation, AI, internal IT, and infrastructure. Among her team's key projects is the AI ​​assistant for macOS Eney.
• Oleg Tsal-Tsalko — CTO of EPAM. Develops GovTech/Public Sector direction and AI solutions for the internal needs of the company, government institutions, and international clients.
• Oleksandr Chumak is CTO of Uklon. He is responsible for the company's technology strategy, architecture, information security, and AI transformation, as well as the autonomous transportation direction.
• Vyacheslav Shelestovsky ("BIT") is the CTO in the 2nd building of the Charter National University. He is responsible for developing an ecosystem of software tools for intelligence, situational awareness, analytics, digital planning, and logistics.
