Startup Tower raised $6.4 million in pre-seed and seed rounds. The company was founded by former Snowflake engineers — Ukrainian Sergey Sokolenko (CEO) and Brad Heller (CTO). Among the investors are Ukrainian funds Flyer One Ventures and Roosh Ventures.

Pre-seed led by DIG Ventures, seed — Speedinvest. Celero Ventures and Angel Invest also joined. Angels include MotherDuck CEO Jordan Tigani, Datadog CEO Olivier Pommel, and former Harvey.ai VP Engineering Ben Liebald.

What problem does Tower solve?

AI assistants for writing code have made developers more productive — pipelines and agents can now be assembled in minutes. But then the real pain begins: testing, debugging, deploying, and maintaining in production — all of this remains as difficult as before. Both for humans and even more so for AI agents.

Tower is the only environment where humans and AI agents work together to bring generated code to a state that can be relied upon in real business.

«Writing functional code has become easier than ever. But testing it, fixing issues, deploying it to production, and maintaining it is still difficult. That’s what we’re solving,» says CTO Brad Heller.

The platform also unifies storage and compute on a single layer, using the open Apache Iceberg format — compatible with Snowflake, Databricks, and other big players. This means that companies remain in full ownership of their data, and AI agents receive fresh, relevant information instead of outdated public archives.

Numbers that speak for themselves

Within a few months of launch, Tower surpassed 200,000 launches of 30,000+ unique applications. Python SDK reached 70,000 downloads per month. Customers include Ford Motor Company.

The investment will go towards expanding the go-to-market team and developing the platform.
