Specifically, the amount of money came from sales of World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency firm launched last year before the election. According to its website, Trump and his three sons — Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Barron Trump — are among its founders.
Meanwhile, the president’s largest source of income from private assets was Trump Endeavor 12 LLC, a Miami-based company that owns golf courses and a resort. The latter, according to the report, brought the US president $110 million in income.
Overall, Trump’s fortune, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, is estimated at $4.8 billion.
