The new deputy was Oksana Ferchuk, who was called the main contender for this position.
«Worked as an advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine in 2022, focusing on the digitalization of logistics processes. Coordinated the implementation of the LOGFAS system, to which Ukraine received full access in 2022, and the launch of the international cooperation platform „Korovai“,» Denys Shmyhal reported.
Ferchuk also coordinated the implementation of the medical information system (MIS AFU) in the Medical Forces Command. She coordinated the implementation of the logistics management system (SAP), in particular, the automation of the processes of supplying logistics (material assets, fuel and ammunition), supplying weapons (ground weapons systems, UAVs, electronic warfare), communications assets, medical supplies, and the automation of contract work.
Before the full-scale Russian invasion, Oksana Ferchuk was in the top management of the Nova Poshta group of companies, the electronic public procurement platform (Prozorro reform), and the electronic document management service Vchasno.
«The transition is complete. I’m not ashamed. I’m proud of the team. We’ve done a tremendous job, made a quantum leap in building a modern, flexible, and digital system in the defense sector,» former Deputy Defense Minister Kateryna Chernogorenko commented on the transfer of affairs to Ferchuk.
Recall that in her two years as Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization, Kateryna Chernogorenko has done a lot to simplify the bureaucratization of processes in the military, involve artificial intelligence in neutralizing enemies, and create the «Reserve+» system, which is used by 4.5 million citizens.
